Testimonials
I love spending time on the floor relaxing, watching TV, and playing with my grandchildren. I also spend many hours doing yardwork, especially sitting on the ground pulling weeds. As I got older, getting back up became a painful ordeal, often needing my grandson's help to push or pull me after I crawl to a nearby table, chair, or sofa—all accompanied by plenty of moaning and groaning.
Then on April 25, 2026, something incredible happened. While picking up tiny toys, I remembered I needed to do something in the kitchen. Without thinking, I stood up from the floor in one fluid motion. Stunned, I realized I had gotten up to a full standing position without pain, without moaning or groaning, and without hands, furniture, or anyone's help! I couldn't believe it, so I sat back down and did it again... and again... and again.
The only change I'd made was starting Janelle Mayeshiro's Fit & Flexible class on April 8, 2026. Janelle teaches not only exercises but how our body works, emphasizing the importance of core strength, posture, hydration, nutrition, and other key ways to keep our bodies healthy.
When starting this class my goal was to strengthen my back and improve my posture. Little did I know, I've gained unexpected bonuses:
1) Being able to get up from the floor with ease—something I thought I would never be able to do again.
2) Losing an inch from my waist.
3) Following Janelle's hydration advice, my skin and palms are softer, without lotion.
Fit and Flexible is undoubtedly the best class I’ve ever taken; full of relevant and useful information plus actual results. Furthermore, Janelle’s promotion of camaraderie among class members enables us to learn from each other too. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to move better, feel stronger, and improve their overall health.
